ASHLAND, Ohio (WOOD) — Natalie Koenig's layup with 1.8 seconds left proved to be the game winner as the 15th-ranked Grand Valley State Lakers defeated third-ranked Ashland 73-71 Saturday afternoon in women's college basketball action.
The victory snapped Ashland's 50-game home win streak.
Cassidy Boensch scored 31 points, added 13 rebounds, and tallied seven blocks.
