Township hires investigator to review handling of Nassar case

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich (WLNS) — For the past year, Larry Nassar abuse survivor Brianne Randall-Gay has been working with Meridian Township to help heal from the events of September 2004.

Randall-Gay has been working with the township to develop systems to better handle sexual assault investigations and prevention programs. 

The township has gone on the record saying it failed in the Nassar investigation. According to a news release from Meridian Township, to help Randall-Gay put closure on the events of September 2004, she has asked for an external review of the investigation.
