Mom: Red Kettle-funded school program is family

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Ever dropped change in a Salvation Army Red Kettle and wondered where it goes?

One place is a yearlong after-school program for children who attend Living Stones Christian Academy. The Grand Rapids school buses children to the Fulton Heights Salvation Army, located at 1235 E. Fulton Street. While there, children are given a healthy snack, get help with their homework, take part in crafts and activities and of course, play in the gym.
