GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were shot in Grand Rapids' Burton Heights neighborhood Wednesday night.
Grand Rapids police say a 5-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy were shot inside a home by an unknown shooter.
It happened just before 10 p.m. on Quigley Boulevard SW between Buchanan and Division avenues.
Both children were shot were hospitalized. The 17-year-old was treated and released for his injuries, however, the 5-year-old girl's injuries are considered life-threatening. She is listed in critical condition.
