GR bathroom peeper sentenced to prison

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man who hid a cellphone in the women’s bathroom at a Grand Rapids restaurant has been sentenced to years behind bars.

Brandyn Rosa, 21, was sentenced Tuesday to 66 months to 20 years in prison on charges of capturing/distributing an image of an unclothed person, child sexually abusive commercial activity and possession of child pornography. He will also have to register as a sex offender.

Rosa was arrested in February after a teen girl spotted a cellphone that was recording video in the bathroom of the Penn Station East Coast Subs on 28th Street.

During their investigation, police found more images of unclothed minors on five of his electronic devices and added more charges. He created some of the images himself in the sub shop’s bathroom and some were downloaded from the internet.
