HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Hudsonville Ice Cream says its expanded operations at 48th Street in Holland will allow the family-owned business to sell to ice cream lovers nationwide.
Economic development organization Lakeshore Advantage announced Hudsonville Ice Cream's nearly $1.6 million investment Tuesday. It includes a silo alcove to store raw materials, and a plant to test out new flavors.
Hudsonville Ice Cream says the expansion allows it to branch out and add high-skilled food manufacturing jobs. The family-owned company currently employs 84 people and distributes its ice cream to shops statewide and grocery stores in more than a dozen states.
