Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Wyoming; WB 28th St. closed

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — A pedestrian was injured after being struck by vehicle on 28th Street in Wyoming Tuesday morning.

The Wyoming Department of Public Safety said westbound 28th Street at S. Division Avenue will be closed for a few hours while authorities investigate the incident. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.

Police say around 5:45 a.m. the pedestrian was crossing 28th Street when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle. The pedestrian was not in the crosswalk at the time of the crash.
