Portion of Battle Creek's boil water advisory lifted

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A boil water advisory for some residents on the northwest side of Battle Creek was lifted Sunday.

The advisory was issued Thursday for everyone who lives on Walter Avenue between Hazel Street  and Congress Street, and on Wilkes Street between Seedorf Street & Walter Avenue.

Authorities say people living in the area bordered by Walter Avenue on the north, Buckeye Street on the east, West Emmett Street on the south, and Hanover Street on the west can now drink their water safely.
