TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A Wyoming man died after crashing his car into a tree Friday evening.
It happened around 5: 01 p.m. Friday on Luce Street east of 20th Avenue in Tallmadge Township in eastern Ottawa County.
Investigators determined 33-year-old Benjamin Scott was heading east when he lost control of his car on a curve and drove off the road where he struck a tree.
Scott was pronounced dead on the scene.
Authorities say speed was a factor in this crash.
Luce Street was closed for three hours following the crash.
