A pedestrian died Saturday morning after being hit by a car in southeast Kalamazoo.
It happened around 2:59 a.m. on I-94 east bound at the Sprinkle Road exit.
Officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety say they determined the pedestrian had died as a result of the accident.
Officers say to the highway was re-opened around 5:51 a.m.
I-94 east bound was closed at Sprinkle Rd. Traffic had been routed off the highway onto Sprinkle Rd and back onto I-94 Eastbound from Sprinkle as a result of the crash.
