Teen charged as adult in shooting of sister, 14

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — The teenage boy accused of accidentally shooting and killing his 14-year-old sister is being charged as an adult, Muskegon Heights police said Monday.

Kahmyah Robertson died last week after being shot the teens' home in the 2500 block of Elwood Street in Muskegon Heights. Her 16-year-old brother confessed to his role in what happened the day of the shooting, police said, and is being charged with open murder in the case.
