Rising from the ashes: Corner Bar reopens Aug. 25

ROCKFORD, Mich. (WOOD) — Slightly more than a year after fire gutted Rockford’s Corner Bar, the newly rebuilt landmark is set to serve up food and drinks again.

The owners of Corner Bar will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25. The bar and restaurant is on the same site as the old business: 31 N. Main Street in downtown Rockford.

Designers incorporated relics from the historic building into the new restaurant and bar, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
