GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The special education program at Grand Rapids Public Schools will soon be under new management.
The Grand Rapids Board of Education approved the resolution to transfer the district's center-based special education programs to the Kent Intermediate School District or another educational facility on July 1, 2019.
The district will still provide center-based special education programs and services for the upcoming school year.
