GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids city commissioners unanimously selected a person to serve the city’s 3rd Ward on Tuesday night.
The commission held interviews with three finalists before selecting Nathaniel Moody in a 6-0 vote. He was sworn in immediately following the vote.
The City Commission previously said it would make an appointment in a special meeting on July 31, but made the decision a week ahead of schedule.
