Deputies: Robber's car, shoes found; suspect still loose

OVERISEL TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office says it’s recovered a vehicle and pair of shoes connected to an armed robbery at a M-40 gas station. 

The crime happened around 6:45 a.m. Monday the Mobil gas station convenience store. Investigators believe the same person robbedthe Mobil at 1122 Lincoln Ave. in Holland shortly before the Allegan County crime. 

Authorities said they recovered the silver and maroon Mazda 6 used in the crime Tuesday morning, as well as the Converse Chuck Taylor tennis shoes the robber was wearing.

They’re still looking for a man who is approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and 140 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and camo-colored face mask.  

Investigators are also looking for a 1999 Black Honda Shadow 1100 motorcycle which may be connected to the crimes.
