GUN PLAIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are investigating what caused an aircraft to run off a runway near US-131 in Allegan County.
It happened Tuesday at the Plainwell Municipal Airport on 10th Street and 106th Avenue, near the highway.
24 Hour News 8 arrived to find the aircraft resting in tall grasses near a busted fence for the airport.
The Allegan County Sheriff’s Department is handling the case. Investigators say no one was injured.
