Road reopens after Kent Co. crash; 1 seriously injured

CALEDONIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — One person is in the hospital after a serious crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle in Kent County.

It happened shortly before noon Monday on 68th Street and Patterson Avenue SE on the border of Gaines and Caledonia townships.

In a post to Facebook, the Dutton Fire Department said its crews arrived to find one person with “significant, potentially life-threatening injuries.”

The crash shut down the intersection, but it has since reopened.
