Cass Co. Sheriff's Dept. seeks driver in hit-and-run; 2 injured

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Cass County Sheriffs are looking for the driver of a car that crashed into oncoming traffic before fleeing on foot. 

The incident happened around 12:56 a.m. Saturday morning on Dailey Road near Hospital Street in Jefferson Township. 

Officials say a north bound vehicle crossed the center line and struck a south bound vehicle operated by 51-year-old William Neff of Osceola, IN.  Neff and his passenger, 51-year-old Ruth Neff of Osceola, IN were treated on scene by ambulance personnel. 

Their injuries are considered non life threatening.

The driver of the north bound vehicle, which was a blue 2012 Jeep Wrangler, fled the crash on foot.
