KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — It’s now up to Michigan’s Court of Appeals as to whether a confession by Kalamazoo shooting rampage suspect Jason Dalton will be allowed in court.
The Michigan Court of Appeals in Grand Rapids heard arguments from Dalton's defense team and the prosecution Tuesday morning.
Dalton's lawyer is challenging the admission of some of the statements Dalton made to police after he was arrested. The defense said those statements came after Dalton told investigators he didn't want to talk to them anymore.
