WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities have shut down 3 Mile Road in Walker due to a sewer line that broke Wednesday night.
City officials said 3 Mile Road is closed between Fruit Ridge and Kinney avenues as crews work to assess the damage, clean up the area and repair the sanitary force main.
The break, which occurred sometime Wednesday night, is currently flooding the entire road. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
