Girlfriend of sex trafficker accused of threats, faces prison

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A woman's ill-advised devotion to the father of her child means she could be joining him in facing a lifetime behind bars.

The Battle Creek man stands convicted of crimes against a 16-year-old girl that includes sex trafficking, raping the child and filming the rape.

Michael Anthony Clayton and his girlfriend Davi Bailey lived together in Battle Creek and had a child.  When Clayton was arrested in October and then convicted this month, she stood by him and defended him.

But police say her loyalty crossed the line into criminality.

Clayton clearly loved social media. His still active Facebook account includes dozens of videos – some going on for a half-hour or more – talking about his life making money, lip syncing rap songs and at the gym.
