Suspect in Rosa Parks Circle stabbing arrested

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man is in custody for a stabbing in downtown Grand Rapids’ Rosa Parks Circle.Reginald Van Perry, 51, was arrested by the Fugitive Task Force Thursday, per a Monday news release from Grand Rapids police.Perry is facing a charge of assault with intent to murder in connection to the June 4 attack, which happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. Police found the weapon at the scene, but the victim and suspect were gone.The 28-year-old victim suffered a serious cut to the neck. He made his own way to the hospital where he underwent surgery.
