COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people are in custody for allegedly robbing a Kalamazoo County pharmacy of prescription medications.
The robbery happened just after 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Galesburg Pharmacy at 9880 E. Michigan Ave, southwest of Battle Creek.
Investigators say the male suspect had a handgun when he walked into the business and stole the medications.
Detectives tracked his vehicle to a property in Portage, where the gunman and a female were taken into custody.
Authorities are withholding the names of both suspects, who remained in the Kalamazoo County Jail Friday. The case will be forwarded to the county prosecutor’s office on Saturday for review and to determine charges.
