2 years later: Kzoo Co. reflects on deadly cycling crash

COOPER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — On Thursday, Kalamazoo County will mark two years since a pickup truck crashed into a pack of cyclists, killing five of them and seriously injuring four others.

Debbie Bradley, Melissa Fevig-Hughes, Tony Nelson, Larry Paulik and Suzanne Sippel were killed in the June 7, 2016 crashon N. Westnedge Avenue south of F Avenue in Cooper Township. Four other cyclists who were part of their group, called The Chain Gang, were injured: Paul Runnels, Jennifer Johnson, Sheila Jeske and Paul Gobble.
