KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Investigators say a Kalamazoo repair shop was damaged when a vehicle parked inside the building caught fire.
Just before 8 a.m. Wednesday, crews from Kalamazoo and Oshtemo townships were called to Muffler Man, located at 1802 W. Main Street in Kalamazoo Township, west of Kalamazoo.
The Kalamazoo fire marshal tells 24 Hour News 8 the business was closed at the time of the fire, which destroyed the vehicle.
The fire marshal says the flames caused heat and smoke damage inside the business, but no one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
