Special counsel Robert Mueller is alleging that former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort tried to alter witness testimony in his criminal cases.
Court documents filed Monday allege Manafort violated terms of his pre-trial release by contacting witnesses in his tax and lobbying case via phone and through encrypted messages.
Prosecutors working for Mueller are now asking that a federal judge revoke Manafort's release and send him to jail to wait for his trial.
