GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A massive group of motorcyclists rode through West Michigan Saturday, raising money to support the men and women who have served our country.
24 Hour News 8 was there as riders rolled out for the 4th annual Veterans Run, which is organized by the American Legion Riders of Post 179.
The ride, which started at the post on Wilson Avenue near the city of Grandville, is in memory of former member Doug DeRidder, who died in 2014.
The annual event also features a pulled pork dinner, silent auction, live music and more, and the money raised goes to support veterans in West Michigan.
