B-93 Birthday Bash at ballpark sells out ahead of Saturday

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — For the first time, country music fans will flood Fifth Third Ballpark for Saturday’s B-93 Birthday Bash.

The weekend celebration is sold out, according to B-93.7’s website.

This is the first year the event has taken place in Kent County; past Birthday Bashes were at the US-131 Motorsports Park near Martin and the Ionia County fairgrounds.

This is also the first time the event has been consolidated to one day, and visitors had to purchase tickets to see the concerts.

Until now, visitors to the B-93 Birthday Bash could get free general admission tickets, but had to pay $60 for parking. The radio station distributed up to 50,000 free tickets for recent Birthday Bashes, with no way of knowing how many fans would actually show.

Under the new structure, parking starts at $10 and tickets started at $34.

This year’s B-93 Birthday Bash features five performers: Rascal Flatts, Gary Allan, Morgan Evans, Devin Dawson and Tyler Rich.

Outside food, beverages, large bags, and personal chairs are not allowed, according to the event’s page.

Gates to the B-93 Birthday Bash open at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The event will wrap up around 10 p.m. with a fireworks display.
