GR to raze former Red Lion restaurant, revive site

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids is getting a grant to breathe new life into the West Side site of the former Red Lion restaurant.

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has approved a $300,000 brownfield grant to redevelop 449 and 499 Bridge Street NW, between Seward and Turner avenues in the Stockbridge Business District.
