GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (via WOOD TV 8) — Authorities are investigating an attempted rape near GVSU's downtown campus.
It happened just before 9 a.m. on May 22, on Prospect Avenue, north of Trowbridge Street.
Police say a man grabbed the victim from behind and took them into a nearby parking garage, where he attempted to rape the victim.
The man is described to be a tall African American man of medium build, in his 20s or 30s and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
