GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A woman was hospitalized after being shot in Grand Rapids' Baxter neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. outside a home in the 900 block of Thomas Street SE, east of Eastern Avenue.
The woman was listed in critical condition later Sunday. Her name was not immediately released.
The Grand Rapids Police Department says the shooting stemmed from a dispute between neighbors.
Police said they have an idea who the shooter is, but had not made an arrest as of Sunday night. They did not release a suspect description.
