ALLENDALE, Mich. (WOOD) — A woman is facing three assault charges for the alleged abuse of three children at an Allendale day care center.
Keyonia Sylvia Ratfliff was arraigned on three misdemeanor assault charges Wednesday in connection to allegations she assaulted children at the Rainbow Child Care Center while she was an employee.
An investigation was started when a 3-month-old boy had trouble breathing at the day care. He was taken to the hospital, treated and released. However, police said the child isn’t suspected to be a victim of abuse.
