GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man convicted of shooting and killing another man in Grand Rapids last year has been sentenced.
On Monday, a judge ordered Andy Gonzalez to spend between 65 and 100 years in prison for second-degree murder and 35 to 100 years for assault with intent to murder. Those sentences will run concurrently. Gonzalez was also sentenced to an additional two years for a felony firearm charge.
He also received time served for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
