Kalamazoo Valley Community College picks new president

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A new face will soon be leading Kalamazoo Valley Community College.

KVCC’s Board of Trustees officially appointed Dr. L. Marshall Washington to the presidential post last week, after reviewing more than two dozen applications.

Washington will be the college’s third president, taking over for longtime leader Marilyn Schlack, who announced her retirement plans in September.
