KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A plan to redevelop the site of the old Vicksburg Paper Mill has received $1.35 million from the state.
The money — a $100,000 grant and $1.25 million loan — came from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality under the Brownfield Redevelopment Program. The cash will go to specific environmental activities to clean up the W. Highway Street property.
