KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Investigators say a lightning strike may have sparked a fire in a Portage home.
It happened just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday at on Tradewind Drive near W. Milham Avenue.
The Portage Department of Public Safety says the fire started in the attic and was controlled before spreading to the rest of the home.
Authorities say the home has severe damage to the roof and attic.
