ALBION, Mich. (WOOD) — An unsuspecting Calhoun County resident got quite the surprise this weekend.
Police and the Sheridan Township Fire Department were called to a house when a family of raccoons fell through a living room ceiling.
A mom raccoon and her five babies fell through the ceiling and onto a couch of a home in Albion Saturday.
When the firefighter went to grab the mom raccoon, she bit through his heavy gloves.
It is still unknown whether or not the raccoon was tested for rabies.
