1 sent to hospital after Ottawa Co. crash

CROCKERY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was sent to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after a crash in Crockery Township.

It happened around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday in the area of M-104 and M-231 in Crockery Township, near Nunica.

A dump truck was traveling north on M-231 and failed to stop at a red light, causing a pickup-truck traveling through the intersection to T-bone it.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries and is in stable condition. The other driver wasn’t injured in the incident.

The intersection was closed for over an hour while crews worked to clear the scene.
