New Wyoming public safety chief sworn in

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — The Wyoming Department of Public Safety has a new chief.

Kim Koster was sworn in by outgoing Chief James Carmody in a Wednesday ceremony at Wyoming City Hall.

She's the first woman to have the job.

"I hope that young girls can look at this … and know they can overcome those hurtles based on their abilities if they just keep working hard," she said
