MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are investigating a homicide that happened in Muskegon Sunday morning.
It happened just after 7:20 a.m. at a residence in the 300 block of Merrill Avenue by W Muskegon Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a 25-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man that had been shot.
The man died on scene and the woman was taken to an area hospital for gunshot injuries. She is in fair condition. Police are waiting to talk to her to help determine what led up to the shooting.
