GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A powerful storm system is producing powerful winds, widespread rain, along with ice and snow through the state this weekend. What type of precipitation and how much you get will depend on where you live.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through noon Sunday from Ottawa, Kent and Ionia counties to the north for this weekend's storm.
One to three inches of precipitation is likely through this weekend.
Another round of moisture will surge into the state later Saturday night into Sunday, creating the potential for widespread freezing rain, sleet and snow as the freezing line continues to drop south throughout the day Saturday.
