GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids police say two people were shot on the city’s southeast side Friday morning.
The Grand Rapids Police Department tweeted Friday morning there is a heavy police presence near the intersection of Hall Street and Madison Avenue.
Madison Avenue is closed between Highland and Hall streets while officers search for a suspect who is possibly inside a nearby house.
Police told 24 Hour News 8 there is no threat to the public, but authorities are still searching for a suspect. No suspect description was provided.
