Cold and snow no problem for flowers

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — With a wintry weather forecast for this weekend that will include rain, snow and freezing rain, a lot of gardeners may be worried about their tulips, daffodils and other green signs of spring.

There's no need to worry, Rick Vuyst from Flowerland told 24 Hour News 8 Thursday. He says annual plants that have already shot up are used to April snows and even early blossoms will be fine.
