GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The ArtPrize Board of Directors announced the organization’s new executive director Thursday.
The board announced it has named Jori Bennett as new executive director. She had been serving as acting director since January 2018 when Christian Gaines resigned.
“Jori is a proven leader with the vision needed to continue to build the great organization that has been the foundation of ArtPrize’s first decade. Most importantly, she has the skillset to develop ArtPrize into an arts organization with national influence and effectiveness,” Rick DeVos, ArtPrize founder and chairman, said in a news release.
Before serving as interim director, Bennett was the ArtPrize director of business development. She has been with the nonprofit organization since 2015.
ArtPrize 10 runs from Sept. 19 through Oct. 7.
