HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — A Holland woman pulled from the wreckage of a deadly crash has died from her injuries, days later.
Janelle Ortega, 21, died in the hospital overnight, according to a Monday news release from the Holland Department of Public Safety.
Ortega was a passenger in a black 1996 Honda Civic that hit a pole along River Avenue just north of 1st Street in Holland. The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on April 2. The driver, 34-year-old William Montano of Holland, died at the scene.
