GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A person was hit by a car on a busy Kent County roadway Friday night.
Investigators say it happened around 10 p.m. Friday on Alpine Avenue NW near the I-96 exit.
Police say the driver is a 44-year-old Walker resident who was heading southbound when an 18-year-old from Wyoming was trying to cross Alpine.
