GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A car that struck a power pole has cut power to a northern Kent County neighborhood.
It happened just before 3 a.m. on Plainfield Avenue NE just north of I-96.
Authorities had to close down Plainfield Avenue because of the downed wires.
As of 4 a.m. roughly 600 people are without power, according to the consumer's outage map.
