BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Authorities are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found along I-94 in Battle Creek.
Troopers found the body of a woman around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday in the ditch on the south side of eastbound I-94, west of Capital Avenue in Battle Creek, according to a Michigan State Police news release.
The woman has been identified as 59-year-old Vanessa Obu Wilder. The cause of death is unknown at this time, the release said.
