Nearly 2,000 without power in Grand Rapids Tuesday

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Nearly 2,000 Consumers Energy customers are without power in southeast Grand Rapids Tuesday morning.

The outage, which is affecting 1,950 customers, was first reported around 4:45 a.m. Tuesday. The utility company estimates that the power will be restored around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Consumer Energy outage map.
