GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Cottage Bar & Restaurant announced Tuesday it will not be hosting its annual chili cook-off event.
The annual event has been held for the last 36 years to generate money for local charities. In a release, the business cited issues with fees and inspections issued by the City of Grand Rapids as to why it was cancelled.
The release said the event has raised over $400,000 for local charities.
